My new squad car! It’s used, but still runs and looks pretty darn good in my opinion. The only problem I hope to get fixed quick is an extremely loud backfire that occurs whenever I shut the engine off.
This is good news for the community as they now have extra police protection! Tonight is going to be pretty busy for us cops, with fire crackers and such. My plan is to fuel up “Squad1” and hit the streets around 8pm tonight. It will be my first patrol in anything other than the golf cart that I used at the farmers market. Hopefully I will have a good report for you tomorrow. It would also be nice to have a good report for the District Attorney when I go talk to him Friday about that incident with the rude cops that cost me my job. They should know better than to disrespect a “brother in blue” like that in front of civilians.
I will have an “after action” report posted tonight about my first patrol in “Squad1”. Let us hope it goes smoothly.
